WHAT WE OFFER
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a broad manual therapy which considers the body’s structure and function alongside the individual when diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. Osteopathic treatment is suitable in many circumstances, similar to physiotherapy, with both professions undertaking rigorous training and being regulated by their respective regulatory bodies.
Treatments include gentle techniques such as strain-counterstrains, osteopathic techniques including high velocity thrusts (HVTs), exercise prescription, lifestyle advice and use of equipment such as the Physiopod.
Lydia has particular clinical speciality treating neurological and vestibular conditions including post-stroke changes and vertigo, using a variety of techniques learnt from across the manual therapy spectrum.
