Petra qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Zimbabwe in 2017. She has worked in the Ministry of Health and Child Care in Zimbabwe for 3 years. Petra has experience in various physiotherapy setting including hospitals, community and private practice. She also has experience in Sports physiotherapy and was part of the physiotherapy team for the Zimbabwean national Rugby team. Petra has also worked in Namibia during her elective physiotherapy clinical placement. She worked with people of different age groups including children and adults.
Petra has a keen interest in neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She has worked with stroke, spinal cord injury patients and other musculoskeletal conditions. She uses a holistic approach to treatment and assessment; and believes incorporating functional activity in exercise regimens improves overall functional outcome. Petra offers physiotherapy following injuries to soft tissues such as ligament and tendon, sprains, back pain and other injuries.

Petra believes in treating the whole person and not just the symptoms; and that a thorough assessment is the key to a successful treatment plan. She enjoys listening to and motivating her patients to attain functional independence. She firmly believes that ‘physiotherapy adds life to years’ by improving the quality of life and movement in patients.
